Editorial policy
Every fact about fees, dates, steps or categories on this site is checked directly against an official TRCN page and dated. If TRCN has not published something, we say so — we never guess a fee, a date or a pass mark.
Sourcing rule
A fact appears on this site only if it is stated on trcn.gov.ng or teachers.trcn.gov.ng, or we verify it live ourselves and record the exact URL. Where two sources disagree, or a figure is genuinely unconfirmed — such as TRCN's exact PQE fee, which sits behind an interactive calculator rather than a published table — we present it as unconfirmed rather than picking a number.
Practice questions
The questions on /trcn-past-questions/ are written by us, not TRCN. We do not have and have never published any real TRCN past exam paper — TRCN's own archive page is currently a placeholder. Each question is written to match the five official PQE content areas and their published weighting (Pedagogy, Literacy, Numeracy, ICT, Safeguarding — 20% each), so you can rehearse the format honestly, not to imitate a specific leaked paper.
Dated pages
Pages that report a status that changes — registration open/closed, result availability, the next exam diet — carry a "verified" line naming the date we last checked and the exact TRCN URL we checked it against. If a page looks stale, tell us via the contact page.
Corrections
We fix reported errors as fast as we can and do not silently delete correction history. Report anything wrong through the feedback form on any page or the contact page.
No affiliation
We are not TRCN, and no page implies otherwise. Every page's header and footer states this.
